I couldn't think of what kind of art someone might make for this story, but when this showed up in my inbox, I could tell it was exactly what I should have thought of. There's so much emotion in the picture, even without showing a face, just the curl of the fingers and the stance of the hip and the contrast of the stark lighting on the black background. Oh, hello there. Just dropping in to say I exist and am writing things that I should be writing! Just slowly, because I suck. I will probably miss the deadline for Skippy Little Bang, tbh, because I just have some rough notes, but I'll probably end up writing the entire fic later this summer.

ANYWAY, I was reminiscing on Tumblr about my old fanfic (haha, to myself, because nobody sensible would care about my old fanfic), and then I found this:

Specifically the basement one (with some tweaks): If I was locked up in your basement, what's the one fic you would have me write? Are there any pairings you don't think I would ever write? Are there pairings you think I should write? Tell me!

I like to know what other people are into! Like, right now, aside from the things I'm already in the process of writing, I want to read so much Leslie/Ben for Parks & Rec. I also want a high school AU Troy/Abed, which is ridiculous because Community is set in college? But I want Troy/Abed where Troy is still a football star and Abed is just Abed and they fall in love ~despite all odds~. So, like, it doesn't have to be what you would want me, specifically to write, but just what you want to have exist in general.
